The Monkees
The Monkees were a rock group of the 60's. The group included Micky Dolenz, Mike Nesmith, Peter Tork, and Davy Jones. I love the Monkees! They were brought together by a TV show called the Monkees. All were chosen by acting experience, though they all had had singing experience. The TV show, about a bumbling rock group, became so popular that the actors began a group called the Monkees. Some of their most popular songs are: Daydream Believer, Last Train to Clarksville, (I'm Not Your) Stepping Stone, and the Monkees Theme (Hey, Hey, We're the Monkees). They even have their own netiquette "emonkeecons"!

In case you couldn't see the above picture, here are the Monkees again! Standing, in red, is Micky. Standing, in green shirt and leaning on Mike, is Peter (he's the only one with light hair). The one in the black and white polka-dotted shirt is Davy, and the one sitting in the white and green striped shirt is Mike.
