Indiana Jones

If there is one saga of movies that I am obsessed with, it's Indiana Jones!

Indiana Jones was played by Harrison Ford.  There were three original movies in the 80's - IJ and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, IJ and the Temple of Doom, and IJ and the Last Crusade.  However, another IJ movie was made in 2008, called IJ and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.  I've only seen the first two, and the Temple of Doom ROCKS!!!  Below are the movie summaries from the movies' covers.

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade

There's nothing more exciting than trying to keep up with the Joneses in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.  Indy's Nazi enemies are back and have kidnapped his father, Professor Henry Jones, Sr. (Sean Connery), to get help in their search for the Holy Grail.  Following a trail from America to Venice to the deserts of the Middle East, it's up to Indy to save his father, save the Grail, and save the day in this non-stop, action-packed adventure the whole family will treasure.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Steven Spielberg and George Lucas bring you the greatest adventurer of all time in a film packed with "sensational, awe-inspiring spectacles" (Roger Elbert, CHICAGO SUN-TIMES).  Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull finds Indy trying to outrace a brilliant and beautiful agent (Cate Blanchett) for the mystical, all-powerful crystal skull of Akator in a quest that is filled with "spectacular fun" (Claudia Puig, USA TODAY).  Teaming up with a rebellious young biker (Shia LaBeouf) adn his spirited original love Marion (Karen Allen), Indy takes you on an action-packed adventure in the exciting tradition og the classic Indiana Jones movies!

WARNING!  The Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Temple of Doom are rated PG, but...

The Last Crusade and The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull are rated PG-13 for "adventure violence and scary images."  The warning at the beginning of the films warn "parents strongly cautioned".  I don't do scary movies, so that's why I'm a little wary about watching the last two movies...

(I know that the picture of the Last Crusade above says "PG", but the movie on DVD says "PG-13"!)

ANOTHER WARNING!  In the first two movies, be prepared for corpses to pop out at you.  They look fake, but there's nothing like the surprise they bring.  Ughhh... I almost screamed when the first one popped out...

C'mon, I wasn't expecting it!
